## Lists
Now you can create lists for your habits. This is useful if you have way too many habits and you're trying to organize them in a nicer way. 

## Sharing
But habit lists are not only about organizing. Now you can share the habit lists with someone else (i.e a significant other, a roommate, a family member, a friend, etc.) and you can both complete habits on the list. 

This is useful if you're taking care of a home, pet, or a child with someone else, and you want to make sure that everything is done.

If you want your habits to disappear as you complete/fail/skip them, you can do that with the new checkbox in the habits sidebar.

## Grouping
Now you can group your habits by:
- Time of day 
- List
- None

If you hold cmd (or ctrl) while clicking a habit, it will mark it as failed. If you hold alt, it will skip it. This way, you can click through your habit list way faster.

The Todos sidebar can be hidden and toggled just like the Planner sidebar. You can also use <Kbd>Cmd</Kbd> + <Kbd>\</Kbd> to toggle the sidebar.

It's super annoying when you're adding a todo and you want to add a new tag but you gotta exit the todo, go to tags, create the tag, and come back. Now you can create tags on the fly.

Life can get hectic, and you might not want to see certain routines in the home widget for a while. Now you can pause and reactivate routines as you please.

You can move todos between groups by dragging and dropping them. This works no matter how you group your todo list (time of day, time block, priority, tag, etc.)

You can change the planned date for todos in the Upcoming page. If a todo has both a planned date and a due date, you can choose whether you want to move the planned date or the due date.

Sometimes, you can be overwhelmed by the amount of todos that you have to deal with. Now you can pause some todo lists that you don't want to see for a while.

Similarly to pausing a tag, if you mark a list as paused, the tasks from the list won't show in Overview anymore. The list should be put on the bottom of Lists and greyed out.

You can write your heart out inside of an event's description field. Rich text, italic, lists, todos, whatever floats your boat. 

If the field is too small, you can pop it out as a dialog.

If you edit a contact, you can set a day interval of how often do you want to have an activity with them (this can be a video call, hanging out, or whatever you decide). If you haven't done an activity in that interval, the contact will appear in the contacts widget on the home page to remind you about this person.

You can also pin some contacts permanently so you can see when was the last time you've done an activity with them.

In Settings -> Features you can choose which features do you want pinned in the desktop sidebar, mobile toolbar, or as a widget in the home screen.

Easily duplicate a workout from the past without adding the exercises one by one. The reps will be gone, but everything else will stay and the workout will start.

Here's a feature hot off the press... get it? Hot? Because sauna?
Yeah. Now you can track your sauna, infrared sauna, cold plunge, cold shower sessions, etc. You can enable this feature from Settings -> Features.

You can choose the privacy for individual habits. This is useful you want to have a public Benji profile and show off your habits, but still want to keep some of them private, or vice versa.

If you set a start date for a project, the tasks from the project will be hidden from Overview until that date. Also the project won't be visible in the sidebar until then.

If you go to the Tomorrow view for your todos, you will also see a section of which todos are due tomorrow, so you can easily plan your day.

Sometimes you might have an event planned for a day, but it's not confirmed yet. By going to the Extra section in the event, you can mark it as "not confirmed". The event will show half opaque on your calendar with a special border that indicates that the event is not confirmed yet.

- All complete todos in a project
- All complete todos in a todo list
- All complete subtasks in a todo

For projects/lists you can press the "Reset" button in their menu.

Now you can set a time of day for each todo (from the todo form or from the quick todo menu). You can also group the todos in your Today view by time of day.

Do you know the moment when your todo list is full of things that you can only do *later* in the afternoon or evening? So why would you see them *now*?

You can also set the "Time of day" filter to "Auto" which will only show you the relevant tasks for the current time of the day (Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night)

Now you can set opening hours and closing hours for a todo, and you can clearly see if you can do it or not.

Inspired by [Tim Urban's "Life in weeks"](https://waitbutwhy.com/2014/05/life-weeks.html) there's a new feature that you can access from the Spotlight (search for "My life in weeks")

You can choose an estimate for your life expectancy, and then see the following info:
- How many years you have left 
- How many weekends you have left
- Progress bar of your life
- Progress bar of the year
- Weeks left of your life
- Progress bar of the current season (summer, winter, etc.)

Also, if you have set birthdays for your contacts in Benji, you will see in which of your life they will leave your life. This is definitely a morbid feature, but it might motivate you to spend more time with your friends and your loved ones.

This feature will soon be more integrated in the platform with widgets, etc. but also you'll be able to disable it completely if it freaks you out.

Your todo descriptions are like a document now. You can add rich text: bold, italic, headings, lists, checklists, etc. To start a checklist just type <Kbd>[]</Kbd> and it will turn into a checkbox.

You can also maximize the description so you can focus on it and have more space for writing.

Now you can invite someone to a project. You need to follow each other in order to send an invite to a project.

In the demo video below we have a user "Kitze" on the left and "John" on the right, and they're sharing a project called "House renovation".

After you add some time blocks to your planner, you can go to your "Today" view and group todos by time blocks.

You can also easily add new tasks to each time block

Sometimes we have a small time block (30 minutes) but we will overestimate the amount of tasks we can dump in it. 

So now when you add estimates to your tasks, you will see a progress bar with how much time there's left in each time block.

Now you can access the planner and see your daily plan anywhere in the app just by pressing <Kbd> alt + c </Kbd> This is especially useful when you're planning your todos and you want to check what your day looks like.

You could already add tags and priority for projects, but now you can do it for todo lists too. 

i.e If you set the priority of a list to "High" all the tasks in that list will appear higher on the "Overview" list. 

A reminder: tags in Benji can have points. For example you can make a tag called "Health" that has 100 points, so anytime you tag a todo with "Health" it will have extra 100 points and appear higher on the list. 

Now you can tag entire lists, so all the tasks on that list will have more points.

Right click a project or a todo list from the sidebar so you can easily edit it, delete it, complete it, or hide it form the sidebar.

You can still access the hidden lists/projects through the Spotlight (cmd+k or ctrl+k).

Go to Settings -> Todos to configure the todo settings. The following settings are available now:

- Todo points
   - Display the points with a nmber
   - Display only a colorful border that represents points
   - Don't display points at all
- Choose whether to show due/overdue tasks in the Today view

It's super annoying when you're messing with recurring calendar events and you have to choose "This event" or "All events" with your mouse. It just kills the planning flow. 

Now you can just press a shortcut on your keyboard so you can be even faster when planning your days.

Ambient Sounds

Introducing our new break screen feature! After completing a pomodoro session, our app will automatically display a helpful break screen. The break screen includes: 

- Your todos for the day
- Suggestions for tasks to complete during your break
- Upcoming events for the day
- A random exercise from your collection

You can choose which exercises are shown during the break by going to Workouts → Manage Exercises → Edit exercise → Mark it as "Show during breaks". You can also add gifs and videos for your exercises, so you can remember what to do.
