Until now, all the settings in the Performance popup were applied in all modes, on all devices.
However, we wanted to give you a way for you to keep working on your animations, transitions, etc. without constantly toggling the performance toggles, so we added two new helpful options.
You can now choose to apply the settings only in Responsive Mode (when multiple devices are displayed). When switching to Focus Mode, Resizable Mode, or any other mode that doesn't display multiple devices, your animations, videos, etc. will keep working
If you choose to apply the settings only in Responsive mode, you can choose to still show them on the first device. So instead of multiple devices showing an animation and destroying your CPU, you can show it only on the first device, and it will be disabled on the rest of devices.

Embedding gifs in your websites, especially when they're displayed on multiple devices at once, can cause your CPU and GPU to sweat a bit more than usual.
In the Performance popup there's a new toggle for disabling gifs while you're working on the content of your site.
