Butler improvements

We're gonna improve the Butler with every update, so you can easily do more things without touching a mouse. In this version, we added the following actions:

  • Screenshot all devices with a frame
  • Full screenshot all devices
  • Jump to any align mode from any other mode
  • Reset reference browser
  • Clear completed todos
  • Search the content of notes and press enter to copy a note to the clipboard
  • Manage Projects
  • Project Settings
  • Create a new project

Also, the Butler shortcut (Cmd + Shift + P or Ctrl + Shift + P) can now be invoked when you're in the reference browser.

More toolbar customizations

We want the UI to be 100% customizable, so we added two new toggles in Settings -> Toolbar (or just right-click the toolbar and click Customize Toolbar):

  • Show the refresh button in the URL bar
  • Choose between buttons or icons in the toolbar

Show the target URL when hovering over a link

Yes, we know, this is the oldest feature that exists ever since browsers existed, and we're a bit ashamed that we're adding it just now 😅

Now when you hover a link in Sizzy you'll see the target URL in the bottom left corner.

Improved import/export and user backups

Sizzy had automatic backups and import/export config functionality a very long time ago, however, the feature was buried in the menu and it wasn't very discoverable.

Now you can find it under Settings -> Backups and Import.

You can easily:

  • Revert to a previous automatic backup
  • Export config
  • Import config

When importing a config, you can still choose which properties do you want to import:

Social Preview

Working with meta tags can be a really painful experience. You never know if you added the right configure, and you need to check the previews on multiple services

Well, not anymore! 🥳

In the Docked Panel, you will find a "Social" tab that will give you accurate live previews of how your website will look when shared on Twitter, Facebook, Slack, and Google.

You can also inspect the raw values.
