Device frames, OS & Browser UI

Most of the default devices in Sizzy have a frame, as well as browser and OS UI elements.

You can configure and completely customize the look of the devices by opening the "Device Config" popup in the toolbar:

The frames are purely cosmetic, but simulating the UI elements for the browser and OS is the only way to get a completely accurate simulation of a device's viewport.

Configurable Device Header

You can configure the icons that appear in the header of each device by changing the setting in Settings -> Device -> Device Header

If the zoom level is too low, some of the icons will automatically hide but the options will still be available in the Device Menu.

Emulate Touch Plugin

Using a mouse cursor on a mobile device is not as natural as using touch.

With the Emulate Touch Plugin you can alternate between a touch cursor and a normal cursor by clicking on the plugin icon in the toolbar

You can still use the scroll wheel to scroll even when the touch cursor is enabled.

This feature is super useful when you want to simulate real scrolling and swiping, especially on elements like carousels, galleries, etc.

You can easily inspect elements across all of the open devices at once.

You can start Universal Inspect icon by clicking on the "Inspect Element" icon in the Debugging Panel.

You can also press

⌘,shift,c
on macOS,
ctrl,shift,c
on Windows/Linux
