Customize everything

The entire UI of Sizzy is super customizable so you can make it 100% yours.

Changes

More toolbar customizations

9/28/2020

We want the UI to be 100% customizable, so we added two new toggles in Settings -> Toolbar (or just right-click the toolbar and click Customize Toolbar):

  • Show the refresh button in the URL bar
  • Choose between buttons or icons in the toolbar

Making Sizzy 100% Yours

9/17/2020

We want you to understand that it's very hard to make an app with complex UI and tons of features like Sizzy and satisfy everyone's needs. However, we're trying really hard to make everything optional and customizable, so you can make it yours.

Tips on making Sizzy yours:

  • Make sure to explore the Settings and see all the options

  • Customize the Device Theme and make the devices more minimalistic by disabling device header, etc.

  • Disable any Plugins that you might not need, and drag and drop to reorder the plugins that you need

  • Customize the Toolbar, and disable some Toolbar icons you don't need (Settings -> General -> Toolbar)

  • Change the look of the Workspace Tabs (Settings -> General -> Workspace Tabs)

You can easily disable everything, like this:

And if all of this is still not minimalistic enough for you, you can press Z and enjoy Zen Mode 😄️

We'd love to hear your feedback, so please tell us what you think below 👇

One Tab Bar to rule them all

8/29/2020

The left Sidebar is finally gone! We merged all the modes, align buttons, focus mode tabs, and presets into a new completely customizable tab bar. Now you can easily switch to any view with one click.

Modes & Views

On the left side, you can find the Filters, the Photo Mode, a popup for switching the alignment of the devices, and two tabs for switching to Full mode and Responsive mode.

Presets

You can see all of your presets in a popup if you click on the star icon in the new Tab Bar. If you like to keep some frequently accessed presets as tabs you can easily pin them.

Focus Mode tabs

To the right, you will find tabs of your currently visible devices, so you can easily switch between them with one click. Soon we'll completely change the way of hiding/showing devices, but for now, you can do that in the Organize Devices dialog.

Anything that you'd like to customize can be found in Settings -> General -> Workspace Tabs. You can:

  • Toggle Filters
  • Toggle Modes
  • Toggle Presets
  • Hide title
  • Colorize Groups

Toggling the Tab Bar

You can press Cmd + Shift + B on macOS or Ctrl + Shift + B on Windows and Linux if you want to toggle the tab bar.
