Sizzy 40
Initial multi-monitor support
We're so excited about this release, and we really hope that you will like it 😍
Until now, you were forced to use all of the Sizzy functionalities in a single window, but this was an issue, especially if you have multiple monitors and a lot of space to spare.
Now, you can pop out the following things as a separate window:
- Debugging Panel
- Reference Browser
You can treat the external windows like any other window in your OS: resize it, position it using a window manager, or move it to a second monitor.
You can also find $butler$ actions for docking and undocking the windows.
In the future, we'll allow you to pop out more windows, so please let us know if you have any ideas.
Undock Debugging Panel as a separate window
We renamed the "Docked Panel" to "Debugging Panel" because now it can be opened as a separate window.
Undock Reference Browser as a separate window
Until now, you could only position the Reference Browser within Sizzy, but now you can pop it out as a separate window. All of the functionality remains the same.
Automatically open reference browser on launch
Now that the reference browser can be opened in a separate window, you might want to automatically open it when Sizzy is launched.
Sizzy will remember the window position, width, and height, so it will always launch at the same place.
You can find the option in
Silence certificate error dialog
In case of SSL certificate errors, Sizzy warns you about the error and asks if you want to continue. This can get annoying when working with local SSL certificates. If you trust the pages and resources you are working with, you can turn off this popup message by toggling "Suppress SSL certificate error dialogs" in
